Jobs Video Game Tester
February 12, 2009Hello everyone i apologize for being gone the last couple of days, i have been a little busy. I am back now and i there really is not a whole lot for me to say right now. I am hoping that everyone following along with this blog and also http://myplayvideogames.com has already started the jobs-video game tester process. If you have started the process already it is time for step number two. This is honestly the funnes step of them all. This is where you forget about all of the hassles of work and real life in general. You can just get yourself into a zone; a video game playing zone. One where all you do is play video games.
If you have already signed up for ELITE Game Tester, which i highly suggest that you do, but you still have not gotten any games to test yet. You really have a couple of options. You could fall in with that other 95 percent of video game testers that after they do not having the highest paying job after their first day, they give up. Or you could realize that there are people making money just playing video games. It might not be the majority of people, but if some can do it so can you. After you realize this, you need to figure out what these people are doing, and what you are not doing. Have you called any of these video game companies, telling them that you are becoming a tester? If you have gotten a job or two, did you really follow those games the very best that you could? If your answer is no to either of these questions you have not done everything in your power to keep going. Why give up, if you havent even given it your best shot? Do not give up, not ever. That is really my best advice for anyone just starting. I will back tomorow with some more of my “brilliant” advice. Make sure you come back and take a look!
